RRB has added 18 new categories to the existing 22, expanding the total to 40 categories for the RRB Technician positions. The updated vacancies are distributed across various zones, with a new link being activated shortly for candidates to apply for these positions. This link will be available for 15 days, allowing both fresh applicants and those who have already applied to change their RRBs if needed

RRB Technician post 2024: Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for RRB Technician post 2024 remain consistent with the previous announcement. However, there have been changes in the educational qualifications required for the new categories. For Workshops & Pus categories, candidates must have completed Class 10th with an ITI Certificate from NCVT/SCVT in the relevant trade/branches.
RRB Technician post 2024 Selection Procedure
The selection process for RRB Technician post 2024 involves three stages:
- Computer-Based Test (CBT): Candidates must first pass the CBT.
- Document Verification: Selected candidates from the CBT will be called for document verification.
- Medical Examination: Candidates who clear the document verification will undergo a medical examination.
RRB Technician post 2024 Exam date :
The Railway Board Recruitment 2024 exam is expected to take place in October or November 2024. Please note that these dates are tentative and subject to change.
